Ambassador of Israel to Czech Republic, Mr. Daniel Meron visited SIC to discuss joint activities in innovation and entrepreneurship
His Excellency, Ambassador Daniel Meron, accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Ms. Liat Wexelman, visited SIC and held talks about SIC cooperation with Tel Aviv in the field of Smart Cities.
SIC Director, Rut Bizkova and Head of Strategic Intervention Department, Athziri Moreno Romo, shared with the Ambassador key facts of the region on research, development and innovation. Later, the discussion focused on SIC activities with Tel Aviv in the framework of the Twinning program sponsored by Smart Accelerator project for Central Bohemia Region. These activities include a research stay last May of SIC/RIS 3 team and the next study group in the first week of September. This next visits aim is to show first-hand the successful implementation of Smart Cities projects that SIC is intending to transfer to the region, to which the Ambassador Mr. Daniel Meron assisted to set up a meeting with BioJerusalem.
“We are very happy about the close cooperation SIC is developing with Tel Aviv and we’d support it further,” says Mr. Daniel Meron, mentioning the Memorandum of understanding between Skoda and Champion Motors, which was signed only a few days ago. The goal of the established cooperation between two companies is to open an office, that will search for advanced smart car technologies and investment opportunities, which can be included in the brand’s technological systems.
“We are very pleased, that Mr. Meron visited SIC and supports our activities. We look forward to develop new projects with Israel,” expressed at the end Mrs. Bízková.
