Acronym: V4 Smart Cities
Project No.: 21720401
Implementation period: from 1 October 2017 to 1 October 2018
Total budget: EUR 31.400
The project aims
is to evaluate the current condition of the Smart City concept in the V4 region and provide a comprehensive comparative overview, identify Smart City areas for prioritisation and encourage the establishment of regional cooperation between public and private entities in order to manage the implementation of scalable solutions.
To this end, the project will include developing a self-evaluation tool that will include an analysis of a wide range of data sets from selected V4 cities in six defined areas that are consistent with the EY Smart City index.
In addition, the project will seek to encourage the engagement of stakeholders – including citizens and the private sector – through an on-line platform.
Main project objectives:
Support the introduction of a single Smart City methodology for analysing the current situation of cities and identifying priority areas for investment.
Help to create relevant data sources and support the availability of data on Smart City initiatives.
Support the ability of cities to identify and define projects and areas of common interest, such as enhancing the potential for investment opportunities and the ability to finance projects.
