We support research, development, and innovation in the Central Bohemian Region.
We build partnerships and establish new collaboration between businesses and the academic sector. We contribute to the growth and development of small- and medium-sized enterprises and enhance the competitiveness of the Central Bohemian Region within both Czech and global economy. In the field of training and education, we focus on working with young talented students of technical and natural sciences.
Our founding members are the Central Bohemian Region, the Institute of Physics of the CAS, the Astronomical Institute of the CAS and the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography.
The Central Bohemian Innovation Centre is based in Dolní Břežany – this location was chosen with respect to its high concentration of top research workplaces, such as the HiLASE laser centre and ELI Beamlines, which are located directly in Dolní Břežany, and the Biotechnology and Biomedicine Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Charles University (BIOCEV) in nearby Vestec.
