Which personal data we collect and process?

When you visit our website, our web servers make a standard record of your IP address that you have been assigned by your internet service provider, the URL you have come to our website from, URLs of pages you visit on our website, and the date and duration of your visit. Other personal data (such as your name, contact etc.) are recorded only if you provide them at your sole discretion, for instance, when you decide to register for our event or enter into a contract with us.

How we use your personal data?

Whenever you are asked to enter your personal data (typically your name, surname, e-mail, company name, phone number) on any of our web pages, there will be a specification of the purpose and you will be asked to provide your explicit consent. We process your personal data primarily to be able to manage registrations to our events and courses and to contact you to answer your inquiries, notify you of changes concerning our events etc. With your explicit consent, we may also use your personal data for marketing purposes, specifically to invite you to events and courses that we either organize or co-organize, and to send you an e-mail newsletter.

We may process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • to improve the quality of our services,
  • to contact you individually by e-mail,
  • to perform website usage measurement and analysis.

Who will have access to your personal data?

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties that assist us with running our website or managing our business, unless you and us agree on confidentiality of the affected personal data. Authorized members of our staff have access to your personal data. We use GDPR-compliant third-party services and applications for specific processing tasks that we cannot perform with our own resources. These include providers of MailChimp, Facebook, and Google platforms. As a beneficiary of the Smart Accelerator grant project, we hand over registration data for events (name, surname, company/organization) in hardcopy to the Czech Ministry of Education. The data are treated as confidential (subject to provisions governing processing of personal data in government).

How long we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data for 15 years with your consent. An exception are personal data that are included in contracts and invoices whose preservation is subject to the provisions of the Act on Accounting. When the 15-year period expires, we will ask you to renew your consent with processing of your personal data. You have the right to withdraw your consent or limit its scope at any time during this period by writing to us at the e-mail below.
