LASER PRO

The LASER PRO project develops a comprehensive laser innovation ecosystem that connects academia, industry, government, and society. The consortium, led by HiLASE and FTMC, represents a balanced combination of research institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises, innovation agencies, and public bodies from three countries — the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Ukraine.

Innovation Across Europe

The LASER PRO consortium includes 18 partners, creating broad opportunities for experience sharing, knowledge transfer, and the implementation of international projects.

Competitiveness

The project aims to strengthen Europe’s position as a global leader in photonics and laser technologies — both in research excellence and commercial applications.

Education and Commercialisation

LASER PRO focuses on educating a new generation of researchers and technical talent, as well as supporting startups, spin-offs, and young entrepreneurs who want to bring their ideas to life.

About LASER PRO

Launched in 2025, the initiative now brings together 18 partners. It focuses on developing research and innovation strategies, supporting the education of researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs, and strengthening the startup ecosystem, including small and medium-sized enterprises. Special emphasis is placed on reinforcing the Ukrainian innovation ecosystem through mentoring and international cooperation.
